Action-packed cartoon feature about the age-old fight between good and evil. Mysterious events start to happen when the government Earth Corps unearths an amber monolith in a forest; meanwhile, an unscrupulous businessman, Blackthorn, digs up a vine creature, Tendril, which frees the trapped undead beast, Decompose. Earth Corps must use their specially-designed armoured suits to track down the enormous monsters. In the process, the dormant Mutar species of Redwoods, Granites and Magnacore are reawakened, and join forces with Earth Corps to once again do battle with their centuries-old enemies, the Inhumanoids, in an effort to save the world.

Inhumanoids: The Movie Audience Reviews

Bardlerx Strictly average movie
Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Jemima It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.
blackarachnia2 As a product of the 80s generation I must say that this movie is one of the best I ever saw even though it was a bit on the gory side. D'Compose is affected by light and can turn anything that's organic into one of his nightmare soldiers just by poking them with his fingernail and yelling "D'Compose" or by squeezing his victims with his hand until he/she submits. Metlar, the leader of the Inhumanoids, is affected by magnets and can turn statues into living organisms, and Tendril who is made out of organic matter. The Mutors, an ancient race, imprisoned the Inhumoids eons ago and because of the human abuse of the earth Metlar, Tendril, and D'Compose were accidentally released. This movie is just action packed and full of fun dialect including a Geraldo Riveria sound alike. All and all an excellent movie for older viewers.
jenniferles1000 This is easily one of the best cartoon movies out there the animation isn't great but the story rocks just bought a copy the other day unfortunately this copy had all the episodes as well they were really bad including the leader of the inhumanoids metlar bringing the statue of liberty to life and falling in love only to find out that she is a moaning old hag the movie itself is about a team of scientists called earthcore who must stop three monsters the inhumanoids from taking over the world after they are released from capture by an evil businessman blackthorn the three inhumanoids are tendril a creature with two tentacles for arms which grow into more tendril creatures if shot off decompose is a undead monster who turns anyone he touches into undead ghouls and the leader metlar who is a lava monster earthcore must stop the inhumanoids with the help of blackthorns sister and also the creatures who imprisoned the inhumanoids in the first place the granites who are rock people the redwoods who are tree people and magneton who is a magnetic creature who can split in half positive and negative i would highly recommend this to fans of series like transformers and mask and jayce and the wheeled warriors
Gareth Hacking I had never heard of this film until a friend mentioned that they had a copy and would I like to see it. 90 minutes later I could see why this is unknown nowadays. This looks like another Hasbro's attempt at creating a brand much like Transformers or He-man. Earthcore - the heroes of the film even have their own individual vehicles to ride around in. Was there a toy line for this film? I can't imagine parents buying their children characters like D'compose, a rotting corpse with an exposed rib cage and snakes head who turns people into zombies with a touch of his finger. Anyway, the basic plot follows Earthcore as they battle against 3 giant underworld creatures that the film is named after. Helping Earthcore are talking trees and rock men and a magnetic creature that's actually two in one. The animation is cheap even by the standards of the day. For example, one of Blackthornes' goons suddenly becoming two when Mary drives off in her car. One thing I did enjoy though was the use of split-screen during some of the fight sequences; shame there wasn't more of it. Oh, and one of the Earthcore members being named 'the Liquidator', which amused me for no apparent reason.
88keyz This movie is a culmination of the first 5 episodes of the Inhumanoids television series. This was a great cartoon series although I would have to recommend it to more mature viewers. Extremely violent with elements of supernatural horror this cartoon was far different from many of the other cartoons of the time. D'Compose's minions are in fact zombies transformed at his mere touch! In seconds what used to be human is transformed, graphically, into a walking nightmare. With rotting flesh and exposed bones easily visible. But this is one of the things that makes this cartoon so incredibly pleasing to watch for the mature viewer. The story is filled with incredible mythos and fantastic creatures. The only disappointment you will find here is the end credits, in the sense that you will be sad that they seemed to come so soon.
