Indecency Audience Reviews

Develiker terrible... so disappointed.
ScoobyWell Great visuals, story delivers no surprises
Dirtylogy It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
Hattie I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
paulywood This movie was a little dated, however it moved just fast enough to maintain my interest. It didn't have any surprise ending for me but the suspense built steadily. The climax was less than intense, however it developed well. I would call this movie a good one time event and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be entertained but doesn't need their socks knocked off. The main character, Ellie Shaw, played by Jennifer Beals is very honest and believable. I don't know why exactly, but she reminded me of Keisha Castle-Hughes as Paikea in "Whale Rider".The Character Mick Clarkson is well played by James Remar who is a bit of a Patrick Swayze wannabe (Or maybe its vice versa), but that is OK because I think Swayze is intense and I like the intensity of Remars acting. (But to put that into context I like Jim Carrey's overacting) All in all a decent movie.
John Seal There's little to recommend about Indecency (it even has the indecency to not live up to its title in the slightest!), a soggy, undernourished film about the murder of a video producer (Anna Gunn), her two-timing husband (Chris Fields), her scheming partner (Sammi Fields), and her disturbed protege (Jennifer Beals). Co-written by Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things main man Alan Ormsby, the film barely has a pulse and plays like a made-for-Lifetime teleplay, though at least it doesn't insult its audience with the typical 'erotic thriller' flourishes the genre has been burdened with since the late 1980s. Polite to the extreme, Indecency will lull most viewers to sleep.
