It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.

This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

In Search of God like a morning cup of tea. You feel good after watching the journey of a common person. Felt like one must have a purpose in life as Kavita says: social and spiritual - give something back to this world. Look at your own life right now and find your own answer. I am giving a hard look at my own life and what a waste after doing nothing much - live every day doing what you like to do. Kavita is a real example to many of us. She was trying to find happiness and something meaningful in her life. What your heart says to do can't be measured by anything. It might not work for everybody if it doesn't, do not waste your time, watch an action movie or something else. But many of us can relate to this journey looking for something to do in this life. So go for it if your inner 'you' says it. Highly recommend it. Watch with a fresh & open mind. Brilliant and very bold attempt by Sarmah to talk about life, death and truth - Commendable as his first movie.

This is a wonderful and touching film about a young woman on a quest to find happiness. The film was thought provoking and entertaining
full of beautiful imagery and music. There is an amazing amount of spiritual gems that amidst the beautiful shots and lovely pacing. The island she travels to is aw inspiring and the children and holy men there each have a beautiful story to share. I left the theater reflecting on my own life, the world we live in, and at the same time feeling very uplifted and hopeful. It seems not a lot of people make films with positive messages anymore... and "In Search of God" is a wonderful film with a great message.I highly recommend it!
