Guzaarish Audience Reviews

AboveDeepBuggy Some things I liked some I did not.
Tockinit not horrible nor great
Leoni Haney Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
Takethispunch Ethan Mascarenhas (Hrithik Roshan) is a former magician who is a quadriplegic. He becomes the Radio Jockey of an FM Station called Radio Zindagi. His show spreads magic, hope, and laughter through his irrepressible wit and humor to every listener and caller, making it difficult to imagine that this is a man who has been immobilized with a spinal injury for the last fourteen years of his life. Sofia D'Souza (Aishwarya Rai) is his nurse who has been accompanying him for the past twelve years.
silvan-desouza Sanjay Leela Bhansali has always made different films be it Khamoshi, though HDDCS was a conventional film and his biggest success ditto for Devdas, then he made Black and Saawariya(the latter tanked). Guzaarish has elements of The Sea Inside a Spanish film however it's well handled. The film is very abstract yet moving, the way Hrithik's character is shown deserves marks The mercy killing aspect may be not too convincing but yet there are several brilliant scenes in the film.Direction by SLB is good Music by SLB too is fab, Be it Sau Gram and other songsHrithik Roshan does the unimaginable, putting on weight and also conveying through expressions, he is simply fabulous in the role and deserves awards Aishwarya Rai too is amazing in her role Aditya Roy Kapoor is decent,Shernaz Patel is as usual rest are okay.
shipz A movie by Sanjay leela bhansali, a blessing in disguise who believes in projecting love in a very subtle and beautiful way. Perfect star cast, music, costumes. It is a wonderful movie. With a blend of all : Beautiful caption, An excellent acting by Hritik, must say he is a perfectionist and a blessing to Bollywood. Aish's elegant dress up. Amazingly decor-ed sets With a very realistic and encouraging storyline to live life to the fullest till the very end. Though it was just a movie but it had a very touching morale behind it !!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeepSarmah When I first watch Guzaarish, I loved it....but recently I came across "The Sea Inside", a Spanish movie and I am so sorry to say that "Guzaarish" looks like a copy from this movie. The Storyline for "The Sea Inside" follows like this and its in IMDb too: "Life story of Spaniard Ramon Sampedro (Hrithik), who fought a 30-year campaign to win the right to end his life with dignity. Film explores Ramon's relationships with two women: Julia (The Lawyer friend), a lawyer who supports his cause, and Rosa (Our "Ash"), a local woman who wants to convince him that life is worth living. Through the gift of his love, these two women are inspired to accomplish things they never previously thought possible. Despite his wish to die, Ramon taught everyone he encountered the meaning, value and preciousness of life. Though he could not move himself, he had an uncanny ability to move others." I know lot of Indian film maker copy (or so called "Inspire") from foreign films, but I was always under the impression that Mr. Bhansali makes original films. Its not true anymore I guess. And we always wonder why lot of beautiful Indian movies never make it to the "Oscars"???
