The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

Yeah it had few moments i like the most then the movie soon end up as a slasher .
the movie is starting from a flash back but we try to connect those things happened at first to the rest all along even though that small surprise that we are all trying to connect is exposed even before than we think.

I don't expect much out of a horror movie, especially slasher-type movies. I don't expect great acting and super-suspenseful plots. With a title like "GirlHouse," I was not going in anticipating much at all.But it was actually kind of good... The plot was decent, the acting was above average, the pace was set pretty well and the bad guy was really creepy. I was actually pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a soft porn, low-budget, badly acted, bloody mess. And it was, but with a little style. If you like horror movies, it's worth your time. If yo don't, well... Don't bother.

Seen some reviews and noticed the ratings. As far as I am concerned, they don't do justice to this film. Is it a cheap-teen-slash-B-film? Don't think so. Good story, good acting, good end.Iam not going to spoil anything, but feel that I have to do bring balance in some other weird reviews, realizing that everyone is entitled to his own opinion. The killer does have a very clear motive and background. You can see that in the very beginning of the film. The killer his job is not a weird job, and his hobby at home is not weird. His knowledge is not far fetched, and basically he would be the perfect real live profile of a serial killer.Don't expect a cheap and bloody slash film. The film is very well balanced as a thriller with some very bloody moments. But nothing overdone here like. It's easy to get into the film with the intentions of the GirlHouse being very clear. Nothing disguised, but clearly not a porn film. The love/romantic bits in it are genuine. The violence and bloody moments are well proportioned. No exceeding and long winding screaming. No wrong doors with no where to hide scenes that every human being would avoid. The "scary" scenes are well timed. Not too long and not too short. Just enough to keep your attention. All escapes, whether they succeed or not, are perfectly acted. No unnatural behavior in this. Finally a slash film we enjoyed. Lots of tension, lots of gorgeous woman, an environment in which half the world can find (him)self. A film you can identify with. A film that is realistic enough.Definitely worth an 8.

Opening sequence was good, set the scene, then turned into poop. massive plot wholes, he literally got away with murder/didn't get institutionalised/Was still able to get a job for with murder on his record? I dunno maybe I'm overthinking it, but then for the police to initially turn away from murder? What so there is no IT people working for the police now? None of the other 100's/1000's of watchers called the police? It's not really a plot whole but I'll have a moan about it anyway, the "security guards"? Really? A big fat leatherhead looking mf doesn't ring alarm bells instantly? No guns? No taper? might as well of given the job to the junkie she'd probably have been just as effective
