Five Fingers Audience Reviews

Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
Helloturia I have absolutely never seen anything like this movie before. You have to see this movie.
Erica Derrick By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
edwagreen While the acting is good, this film becomes a reversal of the good and bad syndrome. While on a mission to create a food-bank in Morocco, Ryan Philippe is kidnapped, supposedly by terrorists led by an excellent Laurence Fishburned. The film then becomes one totally shot in one room where a cat and mouse game are played by the two men who try to get as much information as possible from each other. It's this back and forth confrontation that really becomes boring after a while. At times, there are flashbacks with Philippe back with his girlfriend in Europe. The end will absolutely jolt you.
Kim Bynem I watched this and thought immediately of "Rendition" and "Unthinkable". I see the point the writer and director are making, and it's one I think needs to be made. About using torture, and the way the good guys so often seem no better than the bad guys. The ending I found glib, and possibly even flip. Like Sam Jackson in the aforementioned "Unthinkable". Which is no doubt a decent part of the point being made by the writer, using Fishburne's character.Still, I'll take "Rendition" or "Fair Game" over a movie like this. This isn't entertaining. It's a bit thought provoking. But it is not worth paying money to watch. Unlike the other two flicks I just mentioned.
matrix01fan so i really want to see this movie, but everywhere i search, i am disappointed. i did see it on an euro ebay site, but no luck in the u.s. i noticed "paris_whitney_hilton_nyc" mentioned seeing it on cable? can anyone help??I am the biggest fan of Laurence Fishburne, plus, i love these types of movies. action is always entertaining and energizing. thrillers that are not on the horror type side are brilliant, if they don't have a ending that i feel my intelligence insulted by, and psychological is ideal.so if anyone could aid me in my, we'll call it, a quest, to see and ideally purchase this bitchen movie in the united states of America i would be eternally grateful??!!!
paris_whitney_hilton_nyc i missed the first 15 minutes first time i saw five fingers on cable . i thought it would be just another dumb action, terrorist movie with a typical ending . wow, was i wrong ! five fingers is a truly psychological thriller with a Hitchcock like ending . being only 87 minutes long, it shifts into high gear very quickly . it could have been a stage play because not many scene changes nor many characters to deal with here . Laurence Fishburne gives a truly memorable, award winning performance as Ahmad, the muslin kidnapper . the ending caught me totally by surprise . so much that i ran out to buy the DVD . i watched it a few times because i missed some important details the second time around . i am sorry i did not get to enjoy this movie in the theatre . it was one of the best movies i have seen during the past few years . most films i see are forgotten as soon as they roll the credits at the end . five fingers had me thinking about it for a long time . see it you won't be sorry !
