Fiddlers Audience Reviews

Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
Keeley Coleman The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
Fulke Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Valentin T Mocanu I am Romanian, "regatean". For me,"Lautarii" is the most beloved Romanian movie, and, if I cannot tell "Romanian", is just my favorite movie. This movie is an artistically wonder. In the same time represent the Moldavian & Romanian paradox. In the version of the movie that I have see the entire spoken dialog is in Russian, but all the songs and their words are Romanians! There are well known and old Romanian songs : "Doina","Lume,lume..". And, in my perception, the Radu Negostin song is in fact the Iancu Jianu song. The song and his words, that means the man soul. The most ancient known Romanian phrase is from 587 : "TORNA, TORNA,FRATRE!", "Intoarce-te,intoarce-te,frate!". May be all these things have a meaning. This movie shall be promoted, restored, kept carefully by all cultural responsible from Moldova and Romania as a national value.
ejik88 for the first time i saw the movie two years ago, while being in visit to my friend from Romania, and was like..wow..the movie is so old, is about my country and my culture and i haven't seen it, from the first time i remained really impressed of what i've seen, of all the hidden themes, that can be understood only by Moldavian/Romanian people i gave 10 for this movie..and not because i am from Moldova, the same country Emil Loteanu is..just..it is one of the best movies i ever seen, this movie reminds Kusturica's time of the gypsies and black cat white cat, but much more dramatic, the realistic times of modern Moldova, with it's powerful culture and tradition and gray political situation, all this supplied by a marvelous and painful love story, good movie, recommend it to all of you
