It even mentions his short stint in Mexico while trying to do some films there. This documentary is filled with some clips from many of his best work and also talks about Eisenstein's theories on editing, directing, and the use of montage. Eisenstein: The Master's House(1998) is a documentary that is a must see for anyone interested in directing a film or learning about the work of Sergei Eisenstein.
