Dragon Ball GT: A Hero's Legacy Audience Reviews

Boobirt Stylish but barely mediocre overall
BlazeLime Strong and Moving!
Iseerphia All that we are seeing on the screen is happening with real people, real action sequences in the background, forcing the eye to watch as if we were there.
Scarlet The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
smetin I'm going to be upfront, I thought Dragon Ball GT was alright despite the torrent of abuse it got from hardcore fans. I get Trunks was 'goofy' and that it wasn't as dark as the previous instalments, I do. However, it still had a fun storyline and ki-blasts here, there and everywhere. A Heroes Legacy picks up a long time after GT when all the main characters die of natural causes. Goku's great great grandson, Goku Jr., is the main protagonist and bears an uncanny resemblance to Goku in the original Dragon Ball. However, he is quite shy and lacks the courage Goku had. Maybe the family got soft with such a prolonged episode of peace...it was interesting to see a Saiyan who was so un- Saiyanlike! The storyline of this movie is quite similar to the original series...find the Dragon Balls. The reason for doing so is so that Goku Jr. can wish to save his grandmother, who just so happens to be the only surviving Z-fighter, Pam! Of course, this is Dragon Ball, so getting the balls themselves won't be a simple task. Along the way, Goku Jr. faces new enemies and must overcome his shyness. This is where I felt the movie fell a bit short. The enemies were not very memorable and we do not get to see some 'proper' fights until very late on in the movie. When the fights do eventually happen, they are somewhat lacklustre compared to what we were used to in the original series. The story ends on a kind nod to the original series. I won't spoil this for you, but it is an ending that I felt did it justice. If you found GT a blemish on Dragon Ball, I would still recommend you watch this movie. It was a slower story sure, but it was still Dragon Ball.
Draiter The movie is great!! and the storyline is amazing and even touching. I mean it shows how to be brave, when Pan dies and Chibi Goku goes on an adventure to search for the 4 star ball. It's also funny, when he and Pak become scared from Zangiya, The blue alien they meet in the dark forest. It even shows the appearance of the great Son Goku (The original Goku) when Chibi Goku becomes disappointed and cries when he realizes that the 4 star ball can't revive Pan, so Son Goku appears and tells him that he needs all 7 balls. He also tells him not to give up. I like the last part when Chibi Goku remembers the words of his great grandfather Son Goku.Anyway this movie is one of the best movies in The Dragonball GT Specials !
goku_z We all had seen side stories of Dragonball before and all of 'em deserved appreciate. I still cannot believe I wasted my time because of this movie. This movie is so pointless. This movie provided me to think this question only: How many generation will this Dragonball continue? How many idiotic new generation characters we have to watch? I only watched the first 4 episodes of Dragonball Gt and when I saw the atmosphere, characters (especially Pan), and synopsis, I rejected to watch DBGT. We had enough pain by watching Pan anyway, and now is it her grandson?? Who cares this. To me, even Gohan was unnecessary. After Goku died, they tried to upload the whole story onto him. But that character couldn't give enough to carry this big project. I even always hated the young Gohan. He must never have been born. After this fiasco, Pan was born. Painful!! And now her coward grandson with her stupid characteristic.I'm a big fan of original Dragonball and the art of it. I have still bearing the questions about the place of Dragonball Z that was it really necessary - That Gohan character, or Goku's being grown up, etc... But I cannot even stand GT.This movie is just nothing but a waste. Scenario is awful. You wait so much things and it gives nothing. We just watched the pathetic Goku. The best solution would be that they must stop this producing new generation and its new characters. STOP THE TIME AND BRING THE ORIGINAL CAHARCTEEERS!!! Young Goku and Yamcha will be enough!!
N0taloser313 This is great. I really enjoyed this and it was really funny. It also proved a good point, with a little help from your friends you can make it. The way Chibi Gokou reacts when Pan gets sick is amazing and the way it makes you feel, its like your in the Anime. And when Gokou has to go on the Journey to find the Dragonball to bring Pan back, it is just an amzing story. I'm not goin to sit here and blah my mouth off, go check it out! A+
