It is a performances centric movie

Good start, but then it gets ruined

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

Inspired by an ancient myth, Darklight stars Shiri Appleby as the immortal Lilith, long hunted by a secret society known as the Faith. Her true nature concealed by a powerful spell, Lilith lives as a 24- year-old woman with no memory of her ageless past. Now, the Faith's chief agent, William Shaw, must recruit Lilith and train her to use her mystical power, known as Darklight, for the good of humanity. So begins Lilith's heroic journey; to slay a deadly demon and come to terms with her own dark past. What i hated the most about this film except the fact that it was boring was the fact that you couldn't see anything at all and it reminded me a lot of AVP: Requeim but then again it's not like anything could save this abomination.

My husband and I both enjoyed the movie and the premise of it. It was a great depiction of the battle between good and evil with a surprising twist. The characters were both well written and well played. The plot and character development of the Lilith and Shaw to make you care about both of the main characters.Due to the way it was wrapped up at the end it would make a great TV series. Be great if a series could be done with the same main characters, but even if recasting had to be done. I think that fans of the movie would be drawn to watch and support a regular show if it was properly done, and presented in the true spirit of the movie. We would love to see a series based on this movie

I think I found the most misogynistic film of all time: Darklight. The gist of the film- Lilith was Adam's first wife and she was considered imperfect and banished from the garden of Eden because she considered herself Adam's equal and refused to submit to him. See, I took those words straight from the script. Then the film keeps going on and though she is the heroine of the film, the only time that she becomes acceptable is when she does what the men tell her to do! She ends the film under the control of The Faith- an all male group!Other than that the script was predictable and the FX were awful. Apart from the obvious hatred of females that is usually a lot more subtle in modern film, there was nothing original about Darklight.

I loved this film. There were some fantastic action sequences and special effects, and the plot was simply fascinating. The dynamics between Shaw and Lilith were incredible, especially considering all that she had done to him before. It added an element of suspense to the movie, not knowing if Shaw would end up going after her, as well. All in all, this movie had everything I could have wanted. There were some creepy parts and some fun parts, a whole lot of fighting and some truly astounding scenes, and that's exactly what a movie should have. Great acting, great plot, great...everything. I just wish they'd make a sequel or a TV series out of this, because it has some real potential.
