Good start, but then it gets ruined

Boring, over-political, tech fuzed mess

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

My expectations weren't very high before watching this movie, and it lived up to this. Poor acting throughout and a storyline that was very predictable. If you just want an easy watch, with a few laughs then this movie is for you.

"College Road Trip" is a new film by Disney, and I can honestly say I enjoyed this film more than I enjoyed a movie in a long time. This movie is about an overachieving seventeen year old girl named Melanie Porter. She plans a girls only road trip- but then her overprotective father insists on joining her so that he can make sure she goes to the close-to-home college, Northwestern. Of course, that follows with hilarious adventures. This movie features Raven (Melanie Porter) Martin Lawrence (Chief James Porter) and Brenda Song (Nancy). When I rented College Road trip, I wasn't expecting it to be that good, but I was pleasantly surprised with the film I watched. This movie features "Double Dutch Bus" sung by Raven her self. An excellent movie!

Once again, Raven Symone plays the bright know it all teenager. And Martin Lawrence plays the wacky dad that gets into crazy situations in this movie. They put the pig in the movie for extra comedy. Kym Whitley actually cried in this movie! She is goofy in everything that she ever played in. And Kelly Cofield from In Living Color made a cameo as the dorm mother in the sorority house. She is the same wacky person in every movie that she's in! If you saw this movie in theaters, you missed a lot of great deleted scenes. This movie was corny just like most other Disney movies. And it had a fairy tale ending. I like how Donny Osmond's character stopped being so perky at the end of the movie when his daughter said that she was engaged!

Those of you who have rated this movie low seriously meet your psychiatrist. You certainly have a problem with your humor gene. It is a cool movie. Over protective parents is a majority phenomenon. In other words, a large portion of planet earth has over protective parents and this is a good non-exaggerative portrayal of such a phenomenon. In my hood, all my neighbors were like this and even my parents had some elements of over protectiveness. I was embarrassed by it on a number of occasions, but I certainly do cherish those memories of over protection, thought I don't endorse it. People, just lighten up! It is a movie that every college aspirant and every parent of a college aspirant should watch. THose who are out of college would certainly enjoy it too.
