Info

In the African jungle, the narrator introduces us to the various birds living there and to wildlife photographer Donald Duck intent on getting some pictures. Unfortunately, all his attempts to photograph birds are ruined by the "clown of the jungle", the Aracuan Bird. Example: when Donald attempts to photograph a chorus line of hummingbirds, the Aracuan Bird interrupts the picture with a Russian kick dance. Donald becomes aggravated to the point where he gives chase but the bird always manages to outsmart Donald and make short work of his sanity.

Clown of the Jungle Audience Reviews

Cleveronix A different way of telling a story
Ketrivie It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.
Bluebell Alcock Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies
Jenni Devyn Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.
OllieSuave-007 A narrator voiced over this cartoon short on a series of tropical birds in an African jungle. In the jungle photographing, or trying to, is Donald Duck. Like a previous cartoon, he seemed to never be able to pull the camera shutter. To make things complicated, an Aracuan Bird with a wacky cackling voice makes life difficult for Donald. What results is the usual bad luck Donald inherits. There are a few funny slapstick moments at Donald's expense. The animation was very nice and colorful and there are some of the classic Donald expressions that we've come to love. The birds singing and crooning like people singing were somewhat interesting to look at. It's still more of an average Donald cartoon, though.Grade C-
yle There are two versions of this -- one broadcasted every Christmas in Scandinavia. The second (original?) is a bit longer with more cartoon violent gags put into it towards the end. Very Tex Avery-ish and highly amusing. Did Disney's "family values" censorship kick in somewhere? Both are great fun, but try to get hold of the extended one.
dimadick Donald Duck is facing Aracuan bird.Aracuan is just insane.Nothing that Donald does realy affects him.Donald's own sanity fails him. This is one of the most hilarius Donald shorts. He just crosses the short line from mad-furious to mad-insane in his own way.Watch it if you want to laugh.
action-6 Clown of the jungle is one of my all-time favorite Donald-movies. Donald is in the rainforest in South-America as a bird-photographer. All of Donald`s attempts of taking pictures of the rare birds are ruined by a bird who is absolutely crazy! That bird is what makes this one of my favorite Donald-movies and it is great fun for the entire family. 10/10
