CKY 4: The Latest & Greatest Audience Reviews

Gutsycurene Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.
Gurlyndrobb While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Kayden This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
sketchbook_romance the fourth edition of the CKYness, very crazy stunts like all the other movies, still pretty damn funny.(some replies to other comments: It's not Jackass stunts in the CKY videos it's the other way around, how would you react to picking up a dollar covered in crap? i'm pretty sure i'd forget about everything too, Mike V(scariest guy in skateboarding) will stand up to anyone, the comment about saying "no" after the guy was punched was made after it had been recorded, and i think you would get everyone in frame if you were recording crazy stunts.) The video was great, delivered just what you would expect if you have watched the first 3 CKY videos, it's not really up for professional media evaluation.
tedg Spoilers herein.I'm coming to this party late, without having seen the first three in the series. Heck, I don't even know what the title means. But I have to say I like this. Yes it is juvenile, homophobic, scatological and often boring. What I like is how it is placed. Usually we have the performances of movies, and separately - nominally in a different world - we have the performance we give to our peers. I'm convinced we base the second largely on the first without knowing we all live in our own movie. Now along comes a passel of kids who spend all their energy performing for each other. This alone is no different than hundreds of thousands of similar passels of robots. What's cool about this one is how they _know_ that their lives are performances and shamelessly present it as a movie. This is a wholly different thing than `Dogtown' which is more of a movie about a slice of life. This is a slice of life based on movies and elevated to a movie.Ted's Evaluation -- 2 of 3: Has some interesting elements.
tnuhole Lucky me, I got the one with the easter egg that shows Bam and Jenn going at it. She has the worst implants I've ever seen in my life. Other than that, it wasn't bad. I much prefer the others though, back before they had a budget. It was more spontaneous and fun then. Now, it's all about Bam's ego.
theinvisiblemonkey I love the CKY DVDs, they are hilarious. But its all acting, and set up situations. Like the football hitting the car.. those people are acting. The sh*t dollar... did you notice how fake the guys reactions were, over acting? And he never returned to the ATM machine to get his money. Some of the stunts they do, that dont really involve people are real, like when Rab walked up to the window and did his business on the window.. that was funny and disgusting at the same time. Oh and the scene in the parking lot at night where that one dude beat up the parking lot attendant was faked. Bam sets up the camera in order to get a shot of himself saying, "Why would you say NO after it was already done?" in CKY2 or 3.. And in the car you can see Bam holding the camera up making sure to have everybody in the frame. Its a great set of DVDs and I cant wait for more, but be aware its not all as real as they want you to believe it is.
