Roy Hart If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

While I'm not exactly a scholar concerning Churchill or English WW2 history, I certainly know that he wasn't the raving lunatic as portrayed here.If the answer is "Churchill" then phrased in the form of a question, the reply would be, "What do the producers have little concern for?"Melodramatic, shmaltzy, and decent enough in some places, my concern is that many of today's younger viewers might actually believe that this is how it was....but without zombies.

They should be lynched.This lame excuse for a film IF that what its supposed to be takes this countries greatest leader and reduces the man into a pathetic caricature. Winston Churchill was a great leader who led this country in its darkest hour, this garbage portrays him as a senile delinquent and spoilt child who fights against the plans for D-Day and nothing more than a bumbling alcoholic insane idiotFactually incorrect. Its beyond inept in its portrayal of a GREAT leader. This UTTER rubbish is nothing but an assassination of Churchill's character and reputation designed to destroy the brilliance of the man as a leader and his place in history.Brian COX shouldve walked off the set portraying this assassination role. IF you want to see a a film that does Churchill justice then it has to be Gary OLDMAN's portrayal of Churchill in DARKEST HOUR - it is EPIC. The script and OLDMAN's portrayal shows and gives Churchill the respect he deserves as Britain's greatest leader. This garbage is an insult to CHURCHILL and is a pure assassination. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WATCHING THIS RUBBISH - IT IS ABYSMAL.

pink_floydilia I'll be honest, I don't know much about Churchill. But from the little I do know, he wasn't a babbling, senile and childish man. That's exactly what this movie portrays.
