Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!

Brilliant and touching
Doomtomylo
a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.

All I can say is WOW! I was flipping through Amazon Prime one night trying to find something to watch, and I came across this little gem. I had no idea what it was about, but after reading the description we decided to give it a try. Boy am I happy that we did. It starts out a little slow, but when the action starts, it explodes. To watch these two old friends do wild, crazy, and sometimes unspeakable things for money is very entertaining. You have never seen this side of Rusty when he was a Griswold. I'm not to give long reviews, mainly because I never want to give away the essence of the movie, but this is one dark comedy that you have to see.

It is not another remake of the movie from Thailand, 13 SINS, which has already been made in USA. The topic is the same, yes, but this film is a rather efficient rip-off, with less action and bloody sequences, but a lot more realistic and far far more disturbing, because of the closeness to reality. It's definitely not a comedy, even a black comedy, but a real drama. Not crime, but a fair insane drama, not for all audiences. Do not watch it with friends whilst eating pop corn, because this film deserves far more than this. This is not a common Saturday night horror film. The beginning is long to glue you, that would be the only flaw of this remarkable feature.

There are no spoilers for this movie. I only bring up films that reminded me of this one, and that's only in my opinion. I've seen movies in this "genre," if you will. This flick reminded me of: WOULD YOU RATHER? FUNNY GAMES. THE STRANGERS. THE LOVED ONES. ETC.The acting is awesome. The gore is okay. The music is good. The camera work is excellent. Everything comes together as it should in a timely fashion (although some may find the beginning a bit slow). There is an emotional pay-off and I found myself conflicted between right and wrong. Ultimately, the film is very well done. I'm glad I watched it.However, CHEAP THRILLS isn't for everyone. Many will find certain elements offensive, but I can't elaborate (and wont). This is a film best enjoyed by those going into it "blind."I'm new to IMDb and CHEAP THRILLS enticed me enough to write my very first review. If it's not up to par, I apologize. That out of the way...On a five out of five rating (VIOLENCE, GORE, SEXUALITY, PLOT AND STORY, OVERALL ENJOYMENT):VIOLENCE:The movie isn't overly done, but there are elements that may disturb (heck, it should disturb) some viewers. To be safe, I'm going with a 3.5/5. GORE:Not too much, to be honest. I was surprised. 2/5.SEXUALITY: Sex transpires but it's not graphic. 2/5.PLOT AND STORY:3/5Overall Enjoyment:2.5/5The material isn't totally fresh but the movie does offer a new spin on things. FINAL THOUGHTS:If you're going to watch this film, know there are elements many will find objectionable. Be aware that the film is horror/satire/ comedy. Not for all but meant for many, CHEAP THRILL flick earns:A Thumbs UP.

Craig is a struggling family man, who loses his low-wage job and is threatened with eviction. In an effort to delay breaking the news to his wife, he heads to a local bar and bumps into an old friend. The two are roped into drinks by a wealthy stranger, and his mysterious wife. The couple entice the two friends to a series of innocent dares, in exchange for money over the course of the evening, with each challenge pushing the boundaries. It seems like easy and much needed money, but the couple's twisted humour pushes just how far the two are willing to go for money.........If I hadn't had seen the film 'Would You Rather', prior to this, I'm sure I would have enjoyed it more. Now, while the film is still an enjoyable poke at modern society and ordinary people wanting extraordinary things, that nagging sense of déjà Vu was just at the back of my head. The problem is, is that plot summaries nowadays, and movie trailers, even posters, just give too much away, if it was a simple 'two old friends meet in Tiber, and are invited for drinks by two strangers', the curiosity would be there, and it would have that element of mystery to it, rather than just upping the ante on the sadistic dares. The cast are fine, and it's quite funny during the first two acts, but then it gets too serious for its own good, and loses its way come the end.If you haven't seen WYR?, then see this, you'll probably enjoy it a lot more than myself.A predictable movie, with a great premise, sadly used.....
