Most undeservingly overhyped movie of all time??
Rio Hayward
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.

Castaway on the moon is a simple love story, in a round a bout way. I have had this recorded on my DVR since January & only now got to watching it. A man down on his luck decides life is not worth the effort & does something about it.In what I assumed was then a dream sequence thereafter, I was not sure I knew where this was headed. But no, the man survived his ordeal and briefly tries to escape his island. He proceeds to scavenge items to help him in his new 'paradise'.Drawing a sign in the sand, he is somewhat surprised later to find his new life has been observed by a shut-in young lady at her apartment.I would have like more background on the girl's father story, as he was unseen throughout & I could not help think maybe the daughters scars were his doing.Venturing out of the safety of her home, she then communicates with him, via a series of message-in-bottles.Both characters has deep troubles within them. He with relationships & her with online bullying. I will finish with the statement, sometimes love stories do not work out (just to make you wonder if you have not watched yet)

A great examination of the human condition.Set in Seoul, South Korea, a man decides to take his life by jumping off a bridge. His attempt fails and he washes up on a deserted island in the middle of the river. After initially trying to get off the island he decides that maybe being alone on an island is actually a good thing... After a while a reclusive young woman in a high-rise apartment spots him and they start communicating with each other...Great, thought-provoking, emotional story. Examines well the pressures we face, depression and loneliness, and why people would want to isolate themselves from the world. Also offers some alternatives...The initial plot is a bit implausible, however, as are some events in the sequence (especially his attempts to get off the island). This is not that important, however, as his being deserted on the island is really just a plot device, and, moreover, a metaphor.Great work from Jae-yeong Jeong and Ryeowon Jung in the lead roles.

I will spare you the story and the details.I will bore you with how i feel right now.I cannot describe where my feelings are.I was deep inside the movie, watching it from layers, while trying to catch my breath.I didn't know where time had flown.I didn't notice. It's a very slow film if you speak in terms of attributes but you won't be able to tell when it covers you like a blanket not leaving you until you realize it's no longer with you.The story is relatively known but in parts unknown by everyone. You would have seen similar stuff and as the movie unfolds you will arrive someplace even similar but where you went in between you won't be able to describe. It's a beautiful journey with stunning visuals and camera work. The direction is outstanding. You can feel the whole backdrop slowly dissolving withing you.The experience is something only to be felt. You will be lost somewhere and found someplace else.In the end you would feel like you have finished reading a long book.
