Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Roy Hart If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

dcmsn 10 out 10 for the man Carver who needs to break skulls with his big nasty sledge hammer. Some nice scenes where punks and bitches get there slaughter by a guy who has the need to feed his buzzing rage.Watch as Carver takes a pliers and clamps a punks nuts and squeezes it with all his might and grins with glee as it explodes all over in a nice squishy bloody mess then dumps some crap all over from the bowl the punk was taken a dump on. There are other fun scenes as has been discussed and some might fine acting.I gave it a 10 based on the genre! I rate movies vs other movies in the same category and this one is 100% solid killing and great for horror and gore.

drama59 I liked the main cast. They had great potential. The premise is suppose to be about a sicko making movies...well...did they make movies - yes. I liked the fact that the women TRIED to escape the psycho but of course FAILED as in most horror movies. Do they all die in the end...well of course (I HATE THIS). I would say that the movie HAD potential but things came out of left field..when was the Sheriff killed...hmmm. Needed a lot of things explained and tied up. Let me see if my best friend were killed by a psycho would I just blow my head off???? Have to think about that. Thought they were going to make a Carver II before "our hero" got his throat cut. If you want a lot of blood - OK. If you want plot - not bad. If you want to feel like "this is a great horror movie" um well...NO. I would just love to take this premise and START OVER because it had such potential. Explain the brothers relationship in the beginning. Why are they such sickos? OH WELL, being born on Halloween guess I am more critical. As Horror Movies go...not the worst I have seen and not the best. If you want a lot of fake blood, knives and nails ..go for it.

kyleallen_9 Before I bought this DVD, i read that it was based on a true story, so i didn't know what to expect, until i watched. I can easily watch horror films, but this one made me flinch. It is centered on a group of friends Matt Carmody, Kristyn Green, Ursula Taherian, Natasha Malinsky, Neil Kubath and a few others, who take a detour and come across a family of deranged killers, who specializes in making snuff films. As the teens are hunted down one by one, they fight to find a way off the mountain so that they become a part of history. This movie was very gritty, gruesome and unbelievable. I only recommend this flick to those who are hardcore horror fans and can stomach every minute of this outrageous horror flick.

mukesh-smartshot I cannot believe the plot of this movie, simply because there is no plot. The movie simply counts on gore, gore and more gore.And to add to the miseries, the murders just are disgusting rather than horrifying.The music though was very good, which has kept the movie alive. Very poor characters, no chemistry between them whatsoever. And why isn't there any reason for the murders?? Its just another plot hole. And what to say about the climax, it is just another mess. And the villain doesn't even come close to leather face who was much more scary. And please don't compare this with hostel or saw.If you love gore and don't care about the reasons, even the most basic reasons, then watch it
