Bunny the Killer Thing Audience Reviews

Smartorhypo Highly Overrated But Still Good
Livestonth I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible
Marva-nova Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Lela The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
Michael Ledo A scientist experiments on a captured human and turns him into a man with a bad rabbit costume with a long fake appendage that needs constant satisfying as he runs around yelling something that sounds guttural like Russy. There is a group of people in a cabin, most of which we don't know that well and can die. The production does set up the final girl in what can be described as a campy gore-fest with a cult following.Clearly this film isn't for everyone. The humor is overly adolescent if not stupid, but that is by design as it makes fun of horror slashers which are adolescent if not stupid. If you can laugh at a man in a rabbit costume sticking his appendage into a bloody eye socket while yelling "Russy!" this is your kind of film...sorry for that plot spoiler. The film is about 75% English and the rest in Finnish.Guide: F-word, sex, rape, nudity (real-Enni Ojutkangas + fake)
Paul Magne Haakonsen I actually had some high hopes for "Bunny the Killer Thing" because the synopsis for the movie sounded like this could be a very funny and interesting movie. However, the movie turned out to be just mediocre, actually. Which was a shame, because "Bunny the Killer Thing" really had potential to be outstanding and really make a stand in the dark comedy genre. However, there was just too much focus on sex and jokes below the belt, to the point where it became tedious and an anchor around the movie. The concept and idea that the writers had for this movie was definitely unique, I will say that. Because it is rare that you come across something as twisted, bizarre and far out there as "Bunny the Killer Thing" turned out to be. But again, it was all weighed down negatively by the blatant sexual layers that permeated through the movie. As for the acting, well I can honestly say that I wasn't familiar with anyone on the cast list, and for most parts then the acting talents were doing good enough jobs with their given roles and characters. However, there were some who stuck out like a sore thumb and were clearly outmatched by the talents of their fellow performers."Bunny the Killer Thing" makes use of practical effects and does so to some success; but do take into consideration that budget and the genre of the movie. So don't except to be blown away by a grand display of impressive effects. The creature design was interesting enough, but again destroyed by the vulgarity of the sexual approach they opted for. This was hardly the funniest of dark comedies that I have seen, nor was it a particularly memorable one. And I highly doubt that I will be returning to the movie for watching it a second time. "Bunny the Killer Thing" does fall into the same area as "Rare Exports", but it just hardly stood up to what that movie turned out to be.
trashgang Have seen the short on which this is based this doesn't add an extra to the short. The effects for the raving bunny are ridiculous funny and cheaply done but it's what the bunny does that is delivering the gory parts. And those are well done. If you can't stand stupid flicks then this isn't your thing but if you dig stupidity with a gory sausage then it's worth seeing, only it's hard to find this one. Only shown at conventions so far. Funny situations and a stupid killer only tricked to kill when he sees pussy. Some nudity here and there. Overall well shot and edited. If you have the change to see it, do so. Some parts are just on the edge of boredom, others do deliver the stuff, and what about the ending, hilariousGore 3/5 Nudity 1,5/5 Effects 3/5 Story 2/5 Comedy 1/5
epoulsen-46763 This was easily the weirdest and most memorable movie in the Bruce Campbell horror film festival (2015). Get ready for a lot of weird and borderline nonsensical set-up to have a group of Fins and Brits spending the night in a cabin in the woods during winter. Then suddenly, Bunny the killer thing (nothing more complex than a man in a furry suit) comes in, helicopter-swinging his enormous penis around yelling "PUSSY!". The then proceeds to rape (and murder by raping) several people. The wild and trippy ride concludes with 2 cases of homosexual unrequited love, a kidnapped Swedish pop star, and a room full of humping furries. It won't become your favorite movie unless you are on a lot of drugs. But, you will never forget... "PUSSY!!!"
