Hoffa floats ashore in Estonia after his stolen getaway boat has exploded. He tries to begin a new life in Estonia, but the longing for his family back home becomes too big and he decides to get back to Sweden. Now a tough struggle begins to get himself home to the family, a family that has moved on with their lives and also thinks that he's dead. A past as a bank robber and a fugitive is not making the journey easier. Along the way back to Sweden more problems arise that makes it even harder for him to meet his family again. Meantime back in Sweden his family is struggling with difficulties which they don't know how to solve. The time is running out and things don't look good at all.

Kailansorac Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.
Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
Jonas Ljungberg I saw the movie yesterday on it's opening night here in Sweden (March 10 2006). I can only say it really got me. If you, like me, loved the TV-series you will certainly like this movie too. If I could, I would rather have it as a TV-series but the movie is still very good. The movie has to tell it's story on 1 hour and 40 min, therefore the plot is more intense than in the TV-series.All of the great actors from the TV-series is back in the movie. That's good, and necessary. The actors are all great, and does a fantastic job to give their characters their special personality and bring them to life. Bisse Unger who plays Hoffas son Max does a particular great job just like he did in the TV-series. He is, according to me, one of Swedens best young actors. I hope we will see more of him in the future. The movie is, as I said, very exciting although the beginning is a little bit slow. But the end is really intense and many things happens there. To bad the creator of "Tusenbröder" says that this will be the last episode, and with that, the end of the "Tusenbröder" trilogy. I can ease you with that Sveriges Television (Swedish public Television) will show a longer version of the movie in two longer episodes. I still don't know when, but it will come.I sure can recommend this movie to all of the "Tusenbröder" fans out there!
