I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

the stupidest, Trucker.karate, hillbilly,"movie" ever made. Chuck Norris with blonde hair. This phony movie made me ill. I am watching it now,but I don;t know how long I can take it. Awful,Bad,terrible acting, directing, any other category that you can think off. This makes rednecks look good, Chuck Norris could never act. He acts like he came from another planet and can not understand whats happening. I grade this one star. Its degrading sterotype.Hillbillys.truckers,Redneck,Cops..this movie is so bad I can't think of anymore words to describe it . Even in 1977 this would have been considered bad. I think that they tried to get on the same bandwagon as those "smokey and the Bandit movies which were equally stupid movies. But they had I little more story line and acting. this is just a complete stupid, moron movie.

After reading many of your reviews, I am offended to say the least!! Did not one of you realize that this was shot as a documentary? It was not some hickabob CB/Karate movie as some of you believe. This mans brother was really missing and a film crew was sent with him to record the search! Geeesh, I can't believe you think this was filmed for entertainment!! I'm sure that Texas City is a real fine "City" in California and not ALL of the citizens are named Cletus, Beudreaux, and Jethro.....so BACK OFF! I'd like just one of you to name ONE part of this movie that wasn't factual. C'mon now......The cops were cousins of Enos and Roscoe from Dukes of Hazard (Another Factual show by the way) and I'm pretty sure I've seen a few others on Amazing Police Chases and Stupid Pet Tricks part 8. What? Could you not believe that the drunk Stumblebum Judge could have a hot wife? They both must be half deaf too because they could not hear the SCREAMING SEMI coming into their house ......" Joshua, did you hear something?" KKAAAABOOOOMMMM!! And Tough Cops?? Wow! Ron Cedilla?? Are you kidding....My grandmother had more fight skills that him.... Notice how cleverly Chuck Norris ducked around the handful of dirt that Supermexcop tried to throw in his face during the final fight. You KNEW he was in trouble when his Fistfulofdirt trick did not FAKE OUT Chuck Norris for a 2nd time. I'm not saying I could sense impending doom for Supermexcop Cedilla, but his on screen fight was about to come to a screeching halt, just like his acting career! "Drink Trucker?" Anyhow,,,the events in this film were REAL, ACTUAL, and FACTUAL..... I'm pretty sure. Now...Off to find me some Wild Turkey!!

The only thing I remember about this piece of "feces" is a bunch of truckers destroy a town, which isn't so much a town as it is a really, really bad set. And the final fight takes 15 minutes 21 seconds because it's all in slow motion... I think Norris might end up making out with his kid brother at the end. If you're into male-oriented trucker fantasy, look no further. Or if you like really bad movies, which is my case, then you've found yourself a feces-encrusted rusted-out-Chevy-Nova of a film. I'm definitely not into the male-oriented trucker fantasy genre... I'm not! Stop , I'm telling the truth! (soon you will be mine, J.D. Dawes) Cut it out! Stop reading my text so knowingly. (soon Dawes, very soon...) (you've been a bad boy, Dawes...) Honestly, this movie sucked.(soon, Dawes. so soon...)

Breaker! Breaker! has Chuck Norris as a truck driver and a karate master, talk about juggling two disparate careers. He gives a load he can't deliver to his younger brother Michael Augenstein and then when the young man doesn't show up, Chuck goes looking for him. What young Augenstein has got himself into is a speed-trap run by Judge George Murdock who comes from the Roy Bean school of jurisprudence. Of course Norris deals with matters in the usual Chuck Norris way and when he gets in trouble, the call goes out over the CB for all the truckers to come and help their good buddy. This speed-trap known as Texas City has a bad reputation and the drivers are only too happy to help a pal.Chuck's of course quite a bit younger and with no facial hair in this one. He's got the tight lipped look of a man who realizes the Academy won't be looking at this gobbler. George Murdock is overacting outrageously as the Judge Roy Bean wannabe. This one is strictly for the fans of Chuck Norris.
