Mortimer Clark, a forensic pathologist finds himself autopsying yet another teenage girl’s body ravaged and torn by a large canine. The girls all have been slain on the full moon. A werewolf though? That’s ridiculous. But the next full moon is drawing near and another body is expected. Day of the full moon: Lauren Redd, a sixteen year old girl is being forced to spend the weekend with her grandmother. Here she steps into an elaborate trap laid out by a manipulative killer. But when Lauren’s finally cornered, the tables turn and the prey becomes the predator. Now the Redd family will go to any length to protect their daughter and hide their family secret but Mortimer is quickly following the trail that leads to the horrific truth: Werewolves do exist, and they have an appetite that must be satisfied.

Blood Redd Audience Reviews

Matrixston Wow! Such a good movie.
SnoReptilePlenty Memorable, crazy movie
Supelice Dreadfully Boring
Organnall Too much about the plot just didn't add up, the writing was bad, some of the scenes were cringey and awkward,
Stevieboy666 Lauren, a high school nerdy type girl, apparently suffers from a disease passed down through her mother's family that means should she ever consume meat then she will become a werewolf for the remainder of her life and crave blood every Full Moon. So the only way to avoid this is to be a strict vegetarian! Well, it's inventive, I'll grant the film makers that! Needless to say she does become one, otherwise we wouldn't have much of a story. Stephanie Hullar does play the part well. Sadly the same can't be said for most of the cast, we have some really wooden acting here. It's also incredibly boring at times, with a few bits of gore thrown in to keep us awake. Very predictable. Pay no attention to the dubious high scoring reviews on here. I made this my first film of 2018. Bad choice!
Michael Ledo The English title for this film is "Blood Redd" which doesn't let you know it is a werewolf film, but written by punsters who were as talented as the "Joan of Arcadia" crowd. My apologies to the individual who watched the TV series. The film opens with a werewolf scene and we discover that young girls are being found with their crotch chewed out. The police investigator (Michael The) believes the girls are being raped and large dogs are being used to hide the evidence while the pathologist (Christopher Frainza) believes the community may be annoyed by a werewolf issue. The film really centers on Lauren Redd (Stephanie Hullar) hence the oh-so-clever English title. She visits her grandmother (Peggy Ivene) and in one scene is wearing what looks like a red cloak. Albert (Torey Widener) is grandmother's care taker who is clearly not what he seems.I really did like the plot idea, including the way they handled the twist (sorry I mentioned it.) However, the low budget aspect killed the film. The sound wasn't good. The special effects, which we see at the end, were abysmally bad. The sound track which started out fine during the opening credits feel into a tired piano. The acting was below "B" film standard with the dialogue not helping.Guide: The film was made in English. I caught 1 F-bomb. No sex or nudity. Stephanie Hullar gives us a little tease.
Leofwine_draca BLOOD REDD is an indie horror film absolutely nothing like the video cover or indeed synopsis. This looks like a werewolf horror movie, but instead it's just a bunch of characters who spend the entire running time wandering around a single house. The interacting actors seem bored throughout, and it's hard to blame them; there's no meat or interest in the story here. One gruesome death scene is all that's on offer.
Mike Elmburg OK, so I've watched this 3 times now. Yes, it's a low budget 80's retro horror film. But I love it! It's destined to become a cult classic. Somehow the new high tech movies lose some of that surreal character that I love so much. Too much special effects, too much editing. Blood Redd is raw. It has a unique plot, classic horror acting, and a great, original finale. Cult classic! I wish that there were more movies made like this today. Think Rocky Horror! Love it! I expect that we will see this cast again. They nailed it. The gay guy creeped me out, and the werewolf girl stole the show. I hope that they make a few more of these before the cast moves to the higher budget film. That happens too often. Please crank out a "Blood Redd Too", and "Blood Redd Again" sequels. Keep this story going pleeeease! Maybe have the sequels in several different cities and the girls travels to the next city whenever she gets hungry. Surprised by the end and that was awesome! Watch it again!
