CommentsXp Best movie ever!
Salubfoto It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
Kayden This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
author_chris_snider I watched this film the first night it premiered on lifetime. I was pretty surprised at the graphic rape scene, but this was used to built up your absolute hatred of the villain and cheer your guts out for the victim. It stays interesting throughout and without going into detail, the ending is completely satisfying.I'm sure this film has some low ratings just because of the sensitive subject it highlights, but I've always been a firm believer in showing the dark side so you can see the darkness be vanquished. Also, the more graphic it is, the more you tend to sympathize with the victim and want even more for them to accomplish their goal of getting even.
agostino-dallas OK, it is a movie made for TV, not the big screen, so lower your expectations. You should watch it on day where sports on TV is not an option. It is raining outside or too hot, maybe too cold for external activity. Moreover, maybe you just watched the news or TV and you saw rapists reported. Of course, if you liked any of "I spit on your grave" movies, you will like this one too. It could be all I have to write about this movie but since IMDb requires at least 10 lines, I think I'd better comment this a little bit more. It is funny how taking justice into your own hands is like an old cake recipe. People know how the cake will taste. There is nothing more to it but with some good coffee or right icing or top, it will be OK. You will "eat" this one too, just make sure you have something to add to it.
jmurdaj I'm a huge fan or maria bello and stephen king. So this movie was a win win for me. Not so much. It was anticlimactic. I wish it had more punch. It could have been a brilliant movie. It just wasn't the thriller it should have been. I didn't read the book. So I have to give credit that it's not the movie's fault that it sucked; they are just following the book. But not all books should be made into a film. There just so many times where you wanted her to and expected her to do something. But she didn't. Something that would have been common sense. Again, I'm sure they are just trying to stay true to the book. But if you're bored on a Sunday watching lifetime, it does the trick.
edwagreen A well known mystery writer is molested and s under eeks revenge on those who plotted and initiated the attack. That sweet elderly lady who planned the writer's lecture and then thought of the attack so that her pervert son could get another attack under his belt was weird to say the least. Our writer turns into a female equivalent of Rambo, putting a knife and a bullet into the old lady's stomach. Before killing her, the old woman professed how much she hated the woman's writing. Another son falls for a bullet until the molester finally meets his fate.Olympia Dukakis has the thankless role as the victim's relative, apparently dead who comes back periodically to comment on what is going on.
