everything you have heard about this movie is true.

It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

eh, the film was OK. if i saw it back when it was released on TV, when i was younger id prob enjoy it. seeing it through adult eyes its not good.the worst part about this movie was the acting/dialogue. a plank of wood would give the same if not more emotion. the characters just say things emotionless. there is a scene near the end of the "film" where Gwen is saying how Ben (possessed by eon) is not a bad guy and she likes him yada yada. then when ben is trying to fight the "demon" shes says "oh my gawd, it working, ben can you hear me in the worst way possible. i died laughing at this particular scene. the best actor was the dude plumber reading the paper in the cafe. he had the most enthusiasm in his dialogue. bens parents were not needed. end of story. the bully kids are just jerks for no reason. bens been gone all summer and every kid hates him. OK, is that how bullying is in real life? last i checked people did it because you were different, not cuz someone went on a road trip and bens bully stayed home. anyway. the aliens were OK, but pointless. the best one was diamondhead, but every other alien sucked. why no fourarms? at the end of the day, id rather watch this than "last airbender" this is by no means a great movie, in fact its bad. but it doesn't make me want to tear my brain out. im giving it more grace because it was a made for TV movie. it has a fairly reasonable runtime, and sticks to the source material for what its got.

I admit I am a fan of Ben 10, and while Race Against Time disappointed me I don't think it was that bad. Is the plot on the weak and predictable side despite having a great concept? In a way, yes. Is the script lacking? Yes. Is it too short and perhaps rushed as well? Yes.However, it is not as bad as it is made out to be. For a TV movie, the production values are decent, with decent cinematography and locations and the effects are not as slip-shod or slapdash as one might think, Heatblast is actually very impressive. The soundtrack is also great, the character relationships are believable enough and the action is choreographed in an efficient manner. The acting is not award worthy, but it is not horrible. I applaud Graham Phillips for trying, and he does, but he does verge on trying too hard. The other actors especially Lee Majors and Haley Ramm range from decent to great. Also I loved the title, it gave a sense of real urgency.Overall, it is disappointing and I would recommend the cartoons Ben 10, Alien Force and Ultimate Alien and the recent TV movie Alien Swarm over this, but it is not that bad compared to some of the reviews I have read on here. 6/10 Bethany Cox

I am ashamed to say that I am a big Ben 10 fan..(at the tender age of 40)...lol.....I DVR'd this move in great anticipation, after watching the secret of the omnitrix, and watching almost every episode of ben 10 and ben 10 alien force, with my 10 year old daughter...We enjoy the rest of the genre, my little girl is a big "Gwen" fan. As for the live action version ...egads!!...Thats 15 minutes I will never get back, good thing I didn't have a brick to bang my head with, I would have need stitches. I don't blame the actors, even lee majors for this groaner, I blame the idjits who produced and wrote the nasty blend of power ranger/ ben 10/ and "hey what can I do with my new video editing program......You could clog the arteries of an army with the cheese of this so called movie.....My little girl even told me "Dad ...that was stupid"...and she likes hello kitty....to put it in perspective...blahhh......riff

I PAID MOENY FOR THIS!!!! WHY IN GODS NAME DID I PAY MOENY FOR THIS!!!!!!!Okay first of all it starts off okay but the fight sequences where a bit too power rangers, then the plot comes along, which was poorly written especially at the end, where they seem to abandon all logic, really I've defended some bad movies, but wow, at least the original series seemed to have a bit more in the characters, and the feeling that there was something bigger going on, this one was.... i'm not sure how to explain it, and no this isn't supposed to be an in depth review but mostly just me letting out my shock at how utterly BAD this movie was, and if the rumor i heard about a 5 million dollar budget is true, I'm in shock, its one hour and 7 minutes of wasted time, except for a couple of entertaining character, namely the principal and the oriental plumber, who's name i cannot remember right now, there have been WONDROUS movies made for only a few hundred thousand dollars, the fact someone thinks this movie wasn't bad for one with ONLY 5 mill has sad illusions about film-making, truly, i cannot believe this, even my 12 year old SISTER was disgusted by this movie, the original series was compelling and interesting, this started with about half that, but i was still going to give it a chance, but by the end, when the acting and plot just abandoned most everything that had been set up.... grrrrrrr..... I Just CANT Believe THIS, i have defended many movies that people have claimed where bad, even Alone in the dark (not great, but okay, there have been worse movies, trust me I've seen them)... BUT WOW.... I PAID MONEY for this and TRULY feel betrayed here..... normally i don't mind it.... but wow i LOVE the animated series, this....... i don't know what to call it... ruins that... *sighs* Okay rants done.
