In 2012 the comet Rose crossed the skies of the city of Barcelona and its magic that night caused 346 love stories flourish. An atmosphere of dreams, hopes and desire mixed to give a special connection between people. From these stories six are the stars of the film. A dinner among friends with a love of life is coupled with a first time for miles. An encounter that can change their lives and revive old ties that clash with the discovery of a baby on the way. In parallel, the struggle between friendship and love strikes the last story, a clandestine love between gay athletes who have to make a tough decision.

Barcelona Summer Night Audience Reviews

Redwarmin This movie is the proof that the world is becoming a sick and dumb place
Konterr Brilliant and touching
Orla Zuniga It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Ricardo Very cool movie and a great excuse to take an afternoon or evening off with a drink and good friends (and a loved one if you are lucky!). The movie presents various stories that show love at different ages and stages in life, including a gay couple. The problems that they go through because of love are multiple but in the end, love conquers all even if the end is not exactly what he had hoped for. Very romantic, well acted, with a good script and good transitions between the different stories
Sara Martin If you enjoyed the crossing paths of the love stories in 'Love Actually', here's a refreshing alternative, this time set in a Barcelona awaiting the passage of a comet one summer night. Characters of diverse ages engage in new relationships or examine the ongoing ones they're involved in. Special attention is deserved by the gay couple formed by two young footballers of different projection and success, and the teen boy trying to get his dreamgirl, couched by his quirky step-sister. A sequel set in winter is currently in the making, following the widespread acceptance of a film that deserves much praise for its modesty and sincerity.
