Spoonixel Amateur movie with Big budget
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Matylda Swan It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
frannytrueman Banal, confusing, with a seemingly endless stream of lame histrionics. The actors appear to be sleepwalking. A tiresome one-note piece of crap.Caine manages to camp it up dutifully. Even more than usual, Walken appears to be impersonating a corpse. The score is annoying and irrelevant. The narrative contains not a single amusing scene. The whole mélange is an insult to the creative and productive act.So unremittingly awful that only those seeking a near-death experience should even consider it. Rigor mortis will set in quickly. It will drive anybody in search of even a tincture of human sensibility Around the Bend. Not even with Monopoly money, folks.
JohnLeeT Very enjoyable film with an engaging script, fine direction, and superb performances from Walken and Caine. Overall, the film is entirely entertaining and quite moving at times. The photography and location filming are also a highlight. However, watching Walken and Caine in a film together is a delight and the story is both cockeyed and uplifting. If you admire the work of these two great actors, you won't want to miss them here even if you find the movie less than the funny, moving, and engaging film I found it to be. It certainly deserved a wider audience and more attention than it received. The director displays some real talent and the screenwriter delivers a uniquely well- done script with excellent dialog.
lagbnaft If you cannot enjoy the value of a film with mixed views on death and how, why, when, what, for and how we deal with it, don't bother. If you can, be ready for a really enjoyable film. The tune, mixed with the film in "8" on the CD is enough to make you know these guys are right on time.I'm not giving the film away by telling you too much but if you read what I've said and view it because of it... you know how I see and all movies I comments will only give you what you need to make your own decision.Family gets together to see to an old mans wishes upon his death be done.Involves peeing on ashes so MNBSFW.
jewels2010au This film, has that feel good ending. The type of film that makes you sit back and wonder about your own life. The Klennix moments were backed up with sparks of love and joy.If you like "Life is a House" then you will love this. A must to watch.Christopher Walken never fails to let you down, with brilliant acting that seemed so real. This is a must have in the movie collection and will be one for the girls night in.Definitely a fantastic drama. That has all the makings for a long lasting film.
