Anjelah Johnson: Not Fancy Audience Reviews

Voxitype Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Keira Brennan The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.
Hattie I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
Cody One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
TxMike In this one-hour special, her performance taped live in California, Anjelah Johnson returns to the form we are accustomed. She is irreverent and funny, but just irreverent enough. As when she is describing how she would deal with someone so close to her face that their eyelashes became braided, 'I will cut you.'The first half of this standup routine is much better than the second half. In it she talks about their recent trip to Eurpope and how she coped with the automated seats in first class. She also explains how she brushed up on Europe by watching a movie ... "Taken" with Liam Neeson. The last part of her routine touches on her famous Vietnamese nail salon routine but instead of repeating it she delivers a few new impressions. Not as funny and inventive as the original but still entertaining. Angelah is cute and funny with great comedic timing for the delivery of her jokes. I found this on Netflix streaming.
