Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

I loved the jokes and the plot. It is a philosophical comedy and it gives us an opportunity to embrace classical American values. And more than that - Leslie Nielsen, James Woods, and Bill O'Reilly in one movie - it's really yuge! And by the way, many people don't know real JFK, so the scenes with him would also help people to know Kennedy better.

Offensive in some ways, and Historically unfair on Neville Chamberlain, whom I admired for not wanting war, considering the horror the Great War had been, but he is maligned unfairly by many Historians, yet JFK himself stuck up for him in his book. I will admit I am also not certain about some of the Historical claims made in this Film. But it is interesting these days that Hollywood would even bother trying to show a more Conservative point of view, which I think is about time, although I will admit it would have been better had it been in a more serious film. I am prepared to admit that not everything in Hollywood is made by Liberals, but it seems that a fair bit is. Only now are some people moaning about this when one finally gets a film that does not entirely slam Conservative values when no one cares about all the Liberal rubbish we have to sift through that comes out of Hollywood especially. As I admitted, this is not always the case, but if Hollywood does have a Liberal lean, which I know it does, it is their choice, but at least have the decency to admit it - which also goes for those Conservatives also who put their slant on things. To me, this film hit the nail right on the head. What, are Lefties upset about the apparent Right of Centre opinions in here, or even the fact that those who disagree with the Liberal Left should even have one ? Get over it. You may think you can brainwash everybody, but some of us like to think for ourselves. I am not an American, and I have admiration for the good things about both Your major Parties, and do not endorse one or the other, as my views are a bit of a mix. I agree with the idea of Universal Health Care, and if the Rich Right do not want that, then pay your workers a decent wage, and make sure there are jobs for everyone. On the other hand, I do believe in traditional Christian values, and will admit that a lot in this Movie was not Christian, but I do not believe in forcing Christianity on people - it is always meant to be a choice. It just seems that when we Conservatives are genuinely expressing our own ideas, you assume we are deluded, just because we disagree. If you can think for yourself and come to your beliefs that way, fine, but at least have the courtesy to extend that to others who may disagree - I do.

This film makes its points against Michael Moore and the left leaning political party by stooping to the level of what it is accusing the other side of doing itself. In one scene it shows an alternate America without the civil war having existed and shows African Americans as slaves, satirizing stereotypical slaves; and yet in the real world within the movie the middle eastern characters are supposedly just as thoughtless and evil. It argues against documentaries lying in order to make money and tell the audience what it wants to hear; and yet it is impossible to believe that this film isn't made to simply appease those who already have a vendetta against Moore or that it isn't wanting to make a profit off of the disagreement and divisiveness of the politics behind it.It's a movie that seems to imply that all that are involved believe in the message of the movie... however I would hope that this is not true. It's a weak argument that full of embarrassing moments of stubbornness and humor at the cost of historical correctness. It is sad that Leslie Neilson had anything to do with the film, much less the fact that it was one of his last. After watching this film you'll have to remember that these actors and this director once did projects which had class and honest to goodness good sense. This film has none of either.

Gutted James Woods was attached to this disgrace. Shame on anyone that took a paycheck for this. If it was truly satirical and funny then maybe, but how could anyone read this script and then perform and think it was funny.... shame, shame, shame and shame.Michael Moore might be a lot of things but at least he deserves a decent paridoy written by people that can actually write. There is always a minimum threshold that any so called feature film must cross to be acceptable. That threshold is 90 minutes at the absolute minimum. This film with credits does 81... nothing more need be said. Shame on those that made this disgrace of a "film". Dave
