Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.
Neive Bellamy
Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

I've always had a real love/hate relationship with British cinema, namely I either love or hate and generally it tends to be the latter. When the Brits make movies they tend to be about gangsters or football hooliganism, the budgets tend to be minimal and competence is generally lacking. This horror is bad even by general UK standards and makes very little sense from start to finish. Revolving around two people from different timelines and how their lives are interconnected through a supernatural force. It's not the easiest film to understand, but even once you have it still doesn't make a whole lot of sense and it certainly isn't enjoyable to watch.I rarely award a film 1/10 but this is certainly deserving. The Good: It ended The Bad: The "Ghost" voice is ridiculously hard to understand The plot makes very little sense Acting is questionableThings I Learnt From This Movie: Movies don't even need to make sense to get a general release British cinema really needs to step up its game

Amnesiac is one of those films that is totally unsatisfying , both while watching it and when thinking about it afterwards. The story drifts into somewhat muddled mysticism. I don't really know what the writer was trying to say, and I don't think that they did either. The low budget cripples the film in many ways , and is jarringly obvious to the audience. This is a further step in distancing the viewer from what is going on on screen. There may be a mystery here but it is not one that the audience cares about enough to try to solve. The poor quality of the acting is a further disconnect with attempting to follow the film. When the film had ended my reaction was "is that it? what a waste of time".Spend the time doing something else instead
