bowmanblue Slasher films – the lynchpin of the horror genre... a handful of good-looking, interchangeable teenagers go, er, somewhere desolate where mobile phones obvious don't work then get picked off by locals/werewolves/monsters – take your pick.Here, in 'All the Boys Love Mandy Lane' the affore-mentioned interchangeable teens go to a country farmhouse in order to – well – get with (for use of a better term) the much-adored Mandy Lane (played by Amber Heard, before her romance with Mr Depp). Unfortunately, before any of them even make it near first base with Ms Lane, a nutter starts slicing and dicing them.Now, normally, there's an element of mystery surrounding who the masked killer is. Here, there isn't – here you basically know who the killer is straight away (and he doesn't ever wear a mask for very long). So don't expect to be guessing who-dunn-it with this one. One guy obviously loves the future Mrs Depp a little too much and has a novel way of dealing with rival suitors.So, there you have it – kids getting stalked and slashed – nothing new. And that's about it. Basically, you've seen it all before and there's nothing that will particularly amaze you (although I did quite l like the ending and thought it was a little different). However, if you generally like your slasher films then this one should entertain.Nothing special, but if you're a fan of the genre then it should fill an hour and a half of your time (although, personally, I thought Mandy Lane's mate was prettier than the – much sort-after – lead!).

Mia Gdowska BMus Hons Geez, i lost 90 minutes of my life and will never get it back. Before you watch this movie, don't! 3/4 of the movie disappointed me the most. the story piece just fizzled. Spoiler! a suicide pact was the reason they were all killed.. OK I do have a little sympathy for Emmet been ignored by the group and bless him for been protective over Mandy. The kills were gory. A shame the script wasn't on par with the acting. In many years to come this movie will be a 'cult' classic. I didn't really care for the group dying off except for Bird and Garth. also why didn't Emmet join the party at the ranch? Mandy's loyalties are questioned throughout the movie. Anyways, if you have 90 minutes to kill and bored then watch this movie. It's not good and it's not bad neither. Happy viewing.

Michael O'Keefe Mandy(Amber Heard)is on their minds. All the boys want Mandy Lane; nothing special...just drop dead gorgeous, orphaned and believed to be a virgin. At school even girls stand at their lockers and watch Amber strut her stuff down the hall. At a pool party, guys gather and listen to all the bravo remarks about who would actually be the first to have sex with Mandy. Moods swing when a class mate is killed. Red(Aaron Himelstein)decides to invite a smaller group, including Mandy of course, to a weekend party at his family's isolated ranch. This weekend retreat unintentionally turns a bit comical and it is a shame there are no characters likable to miss when the slashing and stabbing begins. My question is why Mandy wants to hang out with such idiots? No real plot to be found; just your standard slasher flick. True, there are some disturbing scenes, sexuality and nudity. Drug use and language help earn an R rating. If this is your introduction to Miss Heard; it is not likely you'll forget her.Also in the cast: Anson Mount, Whitney Able, Adam Powell, Luke Grimes, Michael Welch and Brooke Bloom.

Desiree I absolutely despised this movie. I hated the characters, the plot, the acting, and I even hated Mandy Lane (Amber Heard). Basically the characters all keep dying one by one and I didn't mind this at all, I looked forward to it. Not so much the way in which they died because it was unnecessarily gory but I found myself thinking, "When are they going to die?" "They better die soon." and "It's about time!" The characters were so obnoxious, immature, and perverted that you couldn't help but want them to be killed off. "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane" was unnecessarily perverted throughout the entire film accompanied by an abundance of alcohol and drug use. Anyone who drinks that much and does that many drugs is an alcoholic and drug addict, not an average teenager.Things started getting a little interesting in the last few minutes. The twist was unexpected though dumb but it made watching the movie more bearable.
