The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

This is a great piece of art. I sat down to watch not expecting I would be so riveted and engaged. I couldn't look away; didn't want to look away, as I felt immediately drawn to the characters' fate. Perfect pacing and tension. Very moving. Story is futuristic yet believable. Seemingly simple execution of production makes the story clear, uncluttered and sophisticated in presentation. Very good casting - especially Jacqueline Kim and James Urbaniak. Both performances are strong and bring the caliber of the piece to a top level. Another deep work from Jennifer Phang. Also of positive note are the multi-heritage casting, and good, strong roles for women/women over 40.

Excellent - very compact yet filled with meaty material feeding deep reflection on some of our greatest social issues today (but projected decades into the future). It was meaty enough that the film felt considerably longer than its actual 21 minutes (in a good way, not as something you want to end sooner :) Left me hungry for a continuation!Fascinating way to envision today's social issues and trends - projecting them decades into possible future states. This episode dives deeply into the possible future of equality issues - gender, single mothers, economic, racial, generational, age, access to educational and employment opportunities, access to new technologies and treatments, ...For a low budget short, this film has remarkable directing, acting, and production quality. Highly recommended as a "think piece" that is also entertaining as a dystopian but realistic short sci-fi flick.
