Eduvigis is an Eldery Lady who lives in Madrid, and visits bad luck on everyone that she looks at through glasses that her late husband gave her, which were made from crystals from an Egyptian Tomb. To arrange the sale of an inherited house, she must travel to the Canary Islands, and so puts an advert in a newspaper asking for a maid to accompany her, and a chauffeur to drive her car. Mercedes, a girl who works in a Museum in Madrid, and Tony, a student whose college has just started Summer vacation, answer the advert. Neither of them gets along with the other at all, but both are hired to make the trip with Eduvigis. Arriving in Tenerife, Mercedes and Tony discover that the house is worth much more than it appears, and much more than what is being offered.

Acompáñame Audience Reviews

WillSushyMedia This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Sammy-Jo Cervantes There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
Edwin The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
pacomoll this movie has great songs by Rocio Durcal and Enrique Guzmán. Good acting by all involved and the editing of the movie is fast, accurate and enjoyable. I have a VHS copy which is not in very good state but has seen a DVD advertised in Spain; would like to have that DVD. The director has made quite a lot of this type of movies with Rocio and other Spanish and Latin actors; he knows how to present the funny parts in the screen keeping also the music of the actor as part of the plot. the camera moves a lot and angles look very nice and smooth. "Acompañame" was a huge hit in America, specially Central and South America and even among the Spanish population in the States. This type of DVD would really sell well in America, it's a pity there's very little interest or lack of vision to market them here. Great entertainment with this movie!
