kittenkongshow While it's not great by any means I must admit it held my attention, it's a slow burner which I would call a Thriller more than a horror.The UK DVD release is renamed 666 The Prophecy - stupid as 666 has nothing to do with it! Also the description on the back has little resemblance to the movie.Go in with an open mind and be prepared to either ignore or except it's flaws and it is an interesting film.

med77_99 I just really don't get the unjust attack this film is receiving from reviewers on here !!?? My guess would be that people were having very high hopes and were expecting a masterpiece or something !! the movie is really not as bad as the reviews on here will make you believe, it was actually quite enjoyable, entertaining and very well acted.first of all, its not your typical Horror, it is more of a thriller, a story of successful writer whom his kid and wife are killed and is having problems coping with that, he travels to Barcelona to visit his family, only to start experiencing weird occurrences that are related to the number 11.11.11.the main character played be Timothy Gibbs, was quite interesting and his story and pain he is going through were intriguing. he was played very well by Timothy whom i've never seen before, i was surprised by his solid performance as he really carried the film for me. the movie does have a sense of mystery to it, it keeps you guessing with the main character and makes feel you need to get to the end of it to find out what is going to happen and what are the answers to the mysteries surrounding the number 11.11.11 the setting was excellent, the house where the major events take place was creepy and its location on a beach in Barcelona added more intrigue. the whole film was filled with a creepy and dark atmosphere.the biggest problem with the film, and i guess the other reason why many are giving it poor ratings, was the ending, i thought it was rushed and left unexplained, however, while the ending disappoints, the film as a whole left me entertained.So generally speaking, i thought it was a very good thriller, unjustly attacked by others, probably because of the poor ending, but the film as whole has a lot of redeeming qualities, quite entertaining with intriguing well acted characters and a story of mystery.I just don't get the extreme negativity this film is getting, i can understand why some are disappointed, but to give this 1 or 2 stars is extreme, and to call it the worst movie of the year is harsh.if you really want to see some of the worst movies that are actually rated higher than this, then you should watch the Innkeepers, a total waste of time and crappy movie that is actually rated high for some reason !?!?!?

Timothy Anderson The movies feel and characters are real cold and fairly unlikeable, it all kind of leaves you wondering whats next all the same. The main character is cynical and feels quite sorry for himself, if it were you or I, I'm sure we would feel the same, even still when called upon he mans up to do what is right. Sound effects were good, they would definitely caught you off guard at times. Costumes were'nt to bad either. Acting was fair as well.What seems like is going to happen is where the movie throws you and really caught my attention, call it original if you must, them are so far and few in our time when multiple flix are being redone over and over now or its all layed out for you before the ending, typical.Its a definite see for thoughs out there seeking a horror cult type film, enjoy!

Lupus1 This movie is one big bore. I sat it out but the story is pretty vague. The only thing what makes this movie worth watching is the fact that it can be classified as a "Religious Thriller" in which the 11.11 phenomenon plays the leading part.For some dark reason the movie plot seems familiar, like as in: Why the heck does it seem so familiar? Haven't I seen this movie before? Good chance you might have. For all I know it could very well be released back in the 90's under another title...I dare you to sit it out...Because no spectacular things are happening in it.It is not filmed in Hollywood style with tons of (CGI)effects. Instead of that the makers tried to keep the movie, acting and subject small yet prominently playing a part thru the whole movie. Good thing 'cause otherwise there wouldn't even BE a movie.Plot line: Thin. Acting: Seen better. Effects: Poor and clearly, visibly applied.
