How sad is this?

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny

It is sad to think that a movie made in 1940 is much better than one made in 2007. Unlike the travesty that was "Who killed Mrs De Ropp", this movie perfectly captures the essence of the story, especially in its most important moment. When Conradin eats his victory toast, he butters it with butter, rather than with jam like he had in the 2007 atrocity. This is truly the definitive Shredni Vashtar experience. I know now never to trust any movies made today, as they are full of inaccuracies, as the director cares more about getting a paycheck than what truly made the story so memorable, in this case, the butter. -Shredni Vashtar's son
